About

When Donna was a very young girl, her parents were ever so nicely called into her school to speak with the headmistress. To be asked to remind her that, although the school had a flexible lesson system, she would at times need to leave the art classroom to also study maths and English etc.

Her love of art never left her.

A science-based education, a management career, and a family later, in Italy she picked up her pencils again. Bought some watercolours. And taught herself how to capture what she wanted to say with this magical medium.

It is in her portraits - of people and animals - that her unique style is instantly recognisable; for the way that she tells the story to be told in the eyes of her subjects.

Her work is in private collections in the United Kingdom, Italy, and the United States.
